That's a wrap!

Fri Jun 27, 2008, 3:10 PM
And that's it.

As I've promised in my previous journal, which I have been linking to with the past few comic posts as well, Story of D! has reached comic number two-hundered and fifty. As of now, this account can be considered inactive for all intents and purposes, and no more comics will be posted here.

This does not mean the comic is dead. Of course, if you read that previous journal, you already know this (hopefully)!

The comic has officially been renamed "Polymer Chaos" and will be starting from number zero zero one over at my main account, http://hamstercorp.deviantart.com.

Polymer Chaos will begin with a reinstated normal schedule, so you can look for the first comic to be posted Thursday or Friday of next week, maybe earlier. The comic will then be back on its regular schedule of being posted once a week instead of "whenever they get made" like this last stretch of SoD! comics.

Everything that is on this account will remain here to act as an archive of sorts, since I will not be reposting the SoD! comics on my main account.

Anyways, I hoped you've enjoyed reading Story of D! and will continue to enjoy Polymer Chaos.

And in case you missed it, allow me to link to my main account a whole bunch of times here:

Also, here's a direct link to the folder in my gallery I made just for the comic: [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] [link]

I think the entire freaking internet just exploded. Also, I think my eyes are melting.

alittle off subject, but how'd the poor hydralisk's arm get broken off? So inanimate and defenseless...
:iconstory-of-d:
Bad joint construction, mainly. I went to go turn his arm for a pose and it simply snapped right off.

Have you tried super glue?
:iconstory-of-d:
Yes; not only did it not stay, but since the joint in question is a ball joint, even if it did work it wouldn't restore functionality. If I had been thinking, I could have fixed it by pinning it at least somewhat, but trying to use superglue just probably made that impossible since it would have been able to get into the joint and freeze it.

Most tragic...And those are really difficult/expensive to replace these days. Anywhoo, I've checked out all 240 some-odd pieces; great work! Zerg Rush is still my favorite character, even with a busted arm. Oh and props for that 200th episode(the one where everyone attacks Buzz, if im not mistaken)-was very funny, yet random and epic at the same time. I think being united against a common enemy has something to do with it.

Dude, your welcome, and keep up the good (and good hilarious)work, SoD!
:iconstory-of-d:
Thanks, glad you like the comic so much!
